Personal data policy for anx

The purpose of anx privacy policy is to explain why we collect personal data about our guests and how we protect and use the personal data of our guests. We fully respect all requests for the confidentiality of personal information. We are aware of the need for appropriate protection and proper processing of all personal data we receive. anx aims to protect your personal information, regardless of where this information is collected and how it is disclosed or stored.

Personal data

Personal data covers all information that can be used to identify a person. For example, personal data may be first and last name, age, gender, home address or other physical address, email address or other contact information. It is secondary whether the information in question relates to a person’s private sphere or whether it can be attributed to a person’s workplace, such as an email address or a telephone number.

How does anx collect personal data?

You can access anx’s website without telling us who you are or otherwise providing personal information about yourself.

However, anx needs a few personal data, see below, if you wish to make a tablereservation with us.

When you make a tablereservation at anx, a few personal data about you is recorded. We record the information for the purpose that we can provide you with the best restaurant experience.  

The collection of personal data and their processing will always carried out in accordance with the applicable personal data legislation – in particular the Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act.

What information does anx collect?

When you make a table reservation at anx, you must fill in a few details. The information we collect about you in this regard is as follows:

  • Your name
  • Your address
  • Your phone number
  • Your e-mail address

anx does not collect any sensitive information within the framework of Article 9 of the Data Protection Regulation.

Similarly, we will record the same information if you make a table reservation with us by phone.

To whom Does anx disclose your personal data?

The personal data that you provide to anx is not passed on to anyone else.

anx only discloses personal data to others, as required by law or when there is a court order.

Where is your personal data stored?

The personal data that you provide to anx is stored on servers located within the EU. Some personal data is managed by a third party (data processor) who stores and processes personal data on behalf of anx in accordance with this person’s data policy and the applicable privacy laws.

Access to information

When anx processes your personal data, you always have the right to object to the registration. You also have the right to know what  information we have heard about you. What is the purpose of the treatment?

anx collects and processes only personal data that is necessary for us to provide you with the most optimal restaurant experience with us.

anx’s purpose in collecting your personal data is in particular that we can contact you before your visit to usifneeded. In certain situations, you may also need to be contacted after your visit with us. Finally, the aim is that on subsequent visits we can provide as optimal a service as possible.

The legal basis for the processing

Below is the legal basis on which anx bases the processing of your personal data.

anx may process your personal data because it is necessary to fulfill an agreement to which you are a party, as we provide youwith a restaurant service for consideration. Similarly, anx may process your personal data in order to carry out certain actions and/or preparations at your request prior to the conclusion of an agreement for the provision of a restaurant service.

The personal data that you provide to anx in connection with our provision of a restaurant service to you, we will keep fora maximum of 5 years after your visit with us. Credit card details are deleted however already one month after your visit anx.

Your rights

Under the Data Protection Regulation, you have the following rights:

  • You have the right to know what personal data anx processes about you
  • You have the right to have the personal data registered by anx about you corrected and updated
  • You have the right to have the personal data deleted By anx has registered about you. If you wish to have your personal data deleted, anx will delete all information that anx is not required by law to store

On a written request to anx, you can either receive a printout of your personal data, have your personal data updated, object or request the deletion of your personal data.

The request must be signed by you and include your name, address, phone number and email address, as well as copies of both photo and address ID.

You can also contact anx if you believe that your personal data is being processed in violation of the law.

Within 1 month of receiving your print request, anx will send it to your postal address.

When requesting corrections and/or deletion of your personal data, anx checks to see if the conditions are met and then implement changes or deletion as soon as possible.

Store security and sharing of your personal data

anx protects your personal data and has adopted internal rules on information security, which contain instructions and measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized disclosure and from unauthorized access or knowledge of it.

anx has established procedures for whereour employees have the right to access personal data that we have registered about our guests.

anx checks the employees’ actual access through logging and supervision.

To avoid data loss, anx continuously takes back up of our datasets.

anx’s safety procedures are continuously reviewed in the light of the latest technological developments.

In addition to anx’s internal systems, anx relies on external suppliers for our website, email system and payment solution.

anx deletes your personal data when anx is no longer required by law to store the information or when there is no longer a purpose for the processing.

Any changes to the privacy policy will be announced by publication on anx’s website.
